“Zooming Out” is a short comedy film written and directed by Jake Novak
For Jonah, being quarantined alone isn’t all that bad: it’s a great excuse for him to stay single.
But when his butthole of a best friend pressures him to try virtual dating, Jonah discovers that he might actually want someone special in his life… and that he’s kind of a dick.
Who made this flick?
Jake Novak is a writer-actor-filmmaker-quarantined person in Los Angeles.
He writes funny, sincere stories and prides himself on being a one-man production band: Jake not only writes and acts in his projects, but directs, edits, and even films them himself, as he did for “Zooming Out.”
Jake is also an acclaimed singer and has released several parody and comedy songs and music videos, like “The Jewish Christmas Song” and Covid-themed “The Corona Hoedown (Stay the Fuck at Home!).” He lives alone with his no pets, because he’s allergic.
